Has anyone thought about voter education to avoid double voting?

It just hit me that we have had "double votes" in the past that caused the votes to be kicked out. People voted straight dem, then also marked the dem candidate. Yes, it is the SAME candidate, but makes the ballot a double vote. I think that happened to Gore and could happen in any county with paper ballots. Is it too late to remind people to be careful when marking paper ballots that we don't double vote?

Democrats successfully kept straight-ticket voting. Democrats' argument was that straight-ticket was simpler for people to understand.

Your view is probably more valid: It's easier to mess up a ballot when straight-ticket voting is available.
