(26,044 posts)but isn't it odd to see this focus on Michigan, supposedly a relatively-"safe" state? I guess lots of the more-contested states just finished early voting, so the focus has to turn to those that haven't.

(40,416 posts)There are plenty of down ballots races, and MI is a fairly liberal state with both state legislative bodies and the governorship in GOP hands.
I welcome the Clinton's here.

(21,328 posts)Pennsylvania and Michigan don't have a great deal of early voting. Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Colorado, and Nevada do.

(34 posts)Just wish it was possible to get to all three rallies! Michigan usually goes blue, but it is a "rust belt" state with demographic that has been swayed by Trump. Not a big source of concern that she is coming here late in the game because we do not have early voting. Have started seeing more Trump commercials and getting robo calls lately. A couple of the commercials are disturbing and I'm afraid much more effective than the cheap looking ones I used to see. They were about Libya, one featuring the woman who spoke at the RNC convention, another a woman who also lost a loved one in that attack.
