But not dumb. I mean the politicos who run the party.
Not their base.

They concentrated their efforts on taking over state governments.
The governor, the statehouse, the state supreme court in some cases.
And they have been VERY successful.

The gerrymandering they now control has been BRILLIANT.

We must now do the same thing.
Concentrate on state and local politics.
In Alabama most candidates on the ballot run unopposed by a Democrat opponent.
This must stop.
This is where the work must be done.
