I'm on an alternating roller coaster of excited, optimistic and anxious

With my mood swinging from hour to hour, or even less.

Part of me thinks we got this, part of me is planning out my reaction when she wins, and a very dark part of me is fretting that this could be the last week of normalcy in the United States for quite a long time.

I really, really hate that last part of me.

A year ago I thought Hillary would lose a tight election due to working class white males shifting many more points toward the GOP. That possibility is still in play. It's the aspect Nate Silver mentioned in a tweet, that Trump's base of males who didn't go to college is quite influential in electoral college math.

I still think Hillary will hold on narrowly. But since I believe that everything tends to drift back to the beginning I hate that Trump's only path is the same concern I had in late 2015.

Comey really screwed this up. He put the focus on Hillary instead of Trump, where it had properly been throughout fall.
