Not only does Trump insult everyone else...he insults white men, by false association.

This is offered to everyone who might read it and be of the same race and gender as myself, and in full solidarity with all those in other groups who are under dire threat at this moment.
We are being attacked ...by DONALD TRUMP. He attacks everyone else, and to a far deadlier degree, and this is hideous, but he also insults us, besmirches us as a group by implying that he speaks for us, and this calls us to our duty to join everyone else who is working with all their might to stop him.
Every time Trump ties his candidacy to the idea that he represents the collective voice of white men, he insults every single one of us who live our lives in that category.
He falsely implies that we ALL share his fear, his insecurity, his rage against all forms of difference, his obsession with dragging the country back to a segregationist, environment-pillaging, war-loving "golden age"...an age that wasn't golden for much of any of us.
He associates us with his refusal to accept modern life, his rejection of the multicultural, multiracial, multigendered rainbow "fact" of contemporary American life, and the truth that we are part of this world, not hived away from the rest of it.
He treats us as if we are ALL complicit with his desire to inflict chaos, destruction, and confrontation inside and outside this nation.
In the remaining hours before the votes are cast and counted, those of us who are white, male, and yet in total opposition to everything ugly, poisonous, and soul-destroying in the Trump phenomenon are duty-bound to do all that we can, in every state, to send this message:
"Donald Trump-you do NOT speak for us. You are not what we are about. You are not what we wish to leave to the future. And we stand up and shout, with all our might, with all our will, with all our angry hopeful passion-fire for this nation this world-NOT IN OUR NAME!"
