The Nevada Republican Party has what can only be described as a problem with Hispanic voters.
Massive turnout for early voting in Hispanic districts may have helped build a cushion for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton going into Election Day. On Friday night, long lines at polling stations in Clark County, Nevada, stunned local observers as dramatic images of the scenes ricocheted across the internet.
And yet, the next evening, the states GOP chairman delivered what would normally be deemed a dog whistle if it hadnt been so loud.
Last night, in Clark County, they kept a poll open till 10 oclock at night so a certain group could vote, Chairman Michael McDonald said at a rally for GOP nominee Donald Trump Saturday in Reno. It wasnt in an area that normally has high transition. The polls are supposed to close at 7. This was kept open till 10. Yeah, you feel free right now? Think this is a free or easy election?

(58,785 posts)until all who at least were in line as of closing time are able to vote. Just today's typical corrupt, anti-democratic Republican official. They know all too well they can't win honestly, and all honest upper-level officials were pushed out long ago.

The lyrics to the songbird's melodious trill go something like this:
"Stay out of my territory or I'll PECK YOUR GODDAMNED EYES OUT!"
(58,785 posts)our nation was founded on and are behind all our great advances. The hard-core conservatives who have never understood, much less shared, them are just a kicking and screaming burden the rest of us will always have to haul forward with us.
As for Hispanic Arizonans, it's way past time time they tossed out that vicious bigot Arpaio and began voting their numbers. So nice to see those lines!
