This is beyond irresponsible. "Trump campaign hypes fake ‘assassination attempt"

Right after this happened the Trump Klan went on Twitter blaming Hillary.
---
"Three days before the election, in the middle of get out the vote efforts across the country, the Trump campaign is claiming their candidate survived an assassination attempt. This is a fantasy.

Here is what really happened.

At a rally in Reno, Nevada on Saturday night, Donald Trump was talking about his strong support from the Hispanic community. Then he paused.

“Oh, we have one of those guys from the Hillary Clinton campaign,” he said peering down in front of him, shielding his eyes from the bright lights.

“How much are you being paid, $1,500? All right, take him out.”

Police intervened and saved the guy. Then they held him in a bathroom for two hours, keeping him away from the press and reporters.

I'm trying to find a short video clip of Trump saying,

"We have one of those guys from the Hillary Clinton campaign. How much you being paid, fifteen hundred dollars? Alright, take him out."

No luck yet, but the full rally tape is online, and the clip starts at 1h 52m 20s.

Just imagine how much safer the situation would've been, if everybody in the room had a gun.

the media is now raking them over the coals for hyping this up and claiming it's more than it really was. the protestors message of republicans against trump is getting out there. trump supporters are looking like thugs for beating him up just for holding a sign. this is not the closing message they need to be delivering if they actually want to win.

issues. This is the kind of thing that everyone tends to hear about quickly and thus KNOW there was no assassination attempt. As usual, feeding lies to the red-in-claw-and-tooth crowd means growing contempt in others.

it's most likely to be someone whose life and business he ruined by refusing to pay them.

Disagree with his policies, his jackboots will collect you, beat you up, maybe even kill you. The truth of the event would be swept under the rug, because only Der Fuehrer's Truth matters.

My concern that my conservative neighbors and associates were closet fascists is manifesting itself quite overtly before my very eyes.

Conway was asked if he should delete tweet. She said no, because there's as much flak when such things are deleted as when left up.
