Nevada GOP chair: Polling locations open late so 'certain group' can vote - CNN

11/06/16 - Reno, Nevada (CNN)The chairman of the Nevada Republican Party argued Saturday during a rally here for Donald Trump that polling locations stayed open late to accommodate long lines of voters "so a certain group could vote."

The chairman, Michael McDonald, was referring to a polling location in Clark County, which is 30% Hispanic and the county in which Las Vegas is located. The polling location stayed open to allow voters who were already in line -- many of whom waited more than two hours, according to local reports -- to cast their ballots.

"Last night, in Clark County, they kept a poll open 'til 10 o'clock at night so a certain group could vote," McDonald said in introductory remarks at the rally. "The polls are supposed to close at 7. This was kept open until 10. Yeah, you feel free right now? You think this is a free and easy election? That's why it's important." - CNN

I can say for sure in two stated I am familiar with if voters are in line the polls close for new voters arriving. I work in a precinct, we have monitors who watch those lines, if the lines are outside we have monitors outside until the last one standing in the line at 7 PM enters the building and then the doors are locked. If there was still people voting after 7 pm it is because they were in line at 7. I heard Tapper and Conway discussing this and of course the professional diverter Conway did not want to admit those standing in line at closing time was entitled to vote and this applies to Trump and Clinton voters. What holds up the lines, the efforts of Republicans requiring voter ID, it has to be checked and if there is not a match on the DL and voter registration in Texas then an offer is made to have the voter registration is changed to match DL.
