Morgan Hightower, the anchorwoman who used handcuffs offers an "explanation"

Hello, everyone:
Earlier this week, the decision was made to use handcuffs to illustrate the close presidential, governor and senate races in our state. The idea was to show that no matter what happens in the race, the candidates can’t seem to break away from one another. This illustration did not work as intended.
The illustration in no means was meant as a dig to one of the candidates nor as a suggestion that one should be locked up.
I regret that some took it that way but that was not the intent.

7. Just met her last week as she was doing
