My primary reason for supporting it is our overcrowded jails. MoonchildCA Nov 2016 #7

but still recognize that it is a long-overdue development.

And it stands to bring CA significant tax revenue, on the order of ten figures.

Prohibition is long overdue. I grew up in Humboldt county. I have a deceased friend found in a pot "farm". Farm is a joke. They are not farmers. They are guerilla growers. Growers that need to be licensed, taxed and regulated. I'm tired of paying for them

I use to sell pot in Los Angeles. Friends of ours grew it on a farm where they were care takers.

They brought us garbage bags full every couple of months.

I saw nothing wrong with it then and I still don't. For me an alcoholic and drug abuser I have stopped using but I never felt my problems are the experience of the majority.
