I've never felt as much hate as I have this election cycle, hate at the unfairness and the stupidity of 2016. Trumpism/GOP fear mongering has been thoroughly toxic.

After the 2000 election, I stopped ever thinking about slam dunks. However, my bubbly is chilled.

And I still have some deep concerns about how the Trump minions are going to react to a loss. I'm actually thinking about backing my car up my driveway so that my bumper stickers aren't visible to the street. I live in a solidly Democratic district, but that might just make us the perfect target. That might sound paranoid, but those people scare the beejeebees out of me.

All signs point to a good outcome, but I'm always afraid of getting my hopes up.

Plus, it'll make a victory that much sweeter.

In 1992 I was at a street corner holding a sign to vote for Bill Clinton! The traffic going by and just a feeling of excitement in the air - still recall that!
