1. Exactly. Democrats fucking WON this election.....if not for the damn Electoral College.

We seriously need to abolish the Electoral College. There's no reason my vote in CA should count less than a person's vote in North Dakota.

2. Yes, the Electoral College has begun to fail us.

It's now doing the exact opposite of its intent. States like North Dakota haven't gained significant population in years (one of the original intents of the EC was that new territories would gain a voice). In the meantime, people like you are losing your voice.

It was meant to even things out (well, one of its purposes) so they'd jolly well better figure out how to fix it.

3. many feel this is irrelevant but to that I say hell no because

hillary won the vote. she is the people's choice.
democratic policies and agenda won the vote. we are the people's choice.

anytime somebody says trump has a mandate, correct the record.
anytime somebody claims repubs are the voters choice, correct the record.

the reason this is important is because we hold the moral and factual high ground and should NEVER
concede that in the interest of accommodating or getting along with the fascist regime.

5. She'll probably end up winning by 1.5-2 million votes

She won California by 3 million votes!! Somebody told me that her popular vote victory didn't matter "because it's only California" (actually she won several states handily including: NY, MA, MD, WA, NJ) as if California doesn't count even though it has a high percentage of the population of the entire country.
