Which country (or country's leader) will be considered to be the "Leader of the Free World" now?

Who will have the moral authority, the experience and the respect of other nations and other citizens of the world? Which country will be able to step up and fill the void as we watch the decline of the United States?

The United Kingdom? Germany? Australia? France?

It won't be the UK as long as we're in this Almighty Mess; and as I understand, Australia is having its own political problems. France cannot do anything until its next elections, and our fingers are tightly crossed that they will not out-trump both our countries when they have them!

... a third rate debtor nation economy.

Except for the innocent people who will suffer... as a nation-state, and as a political entity, the country will deserve the decline it's about to experience.

Amusing that the country who already made the same exact mistake is the one now most qualified to help lead the free world.

I've been discussing this with my husband since Coup '16. I think she knows Germany and the EU will have to step up. Hope they are making plans as we speak.
