They reported it as breaking news, followed by a parade of right wing politicians to re enforce that LIE

Shortly after the other network lemmings followed with the same LIE

connecting in states like Wisconsin and Michigan. Why did Russ Feingold lose? He was endorsed by Bernie, and was as progressive as they come. Why did Zypher Teachout lose? She was preaching the exact message Bernie was, and lost by 10%, and these candidates were talking to those folks at THAT level

Every swing state Democrat running for Senate lost to an incumbent establishment republican.

He is all wet about Howard Dean. Howard Dean's 50 state strategy worked. He went into a red state and talked about issues that no matter what state you live in there is common ground. Jobs, healthcare, social security, etc.

The push right now is for Keith Ellison as DNC. While Keith Ellison's a solid progressive, what the media will focus on is the republican LIE that Keith Ellison has connections to the Nation Of Islam. That by itself will provide an unnecessary distraction. Look at how the media destroyed Howard Dean, and John Kerry. If this election highlighted anything, it is that racism is alive and well in this country. Besides the unfair distractions that will be hurled at Keith, he is also an active Representative for his district. The DNC chair needs to be someone who can devote his full time.

This election was a generational event. Those who are saying the republicans will screw up so badly that in 2020 Democrats will be a shoe in are naive at best. The next four years will be a consolidation of right wing power, and the media will fall right in line behind it.

The battles for choice, healthcare, civil right, women's rights will have to be re fought all over again. This will take a very long time, and the Supreme Court will insure that.

That is why Noam Chomsky said, "Progressives who refused to vote for Hillary Clinton made a ‘bad mistake’

Noam Chomsky's said it best with this:

"Chomsky also attacked the arguments made by philosopher Slavoj Zizek, who argued that Trump’s election would at least shake up the system and provide a real rallying point for the left.

“[Zizek makes a] terrible point,” Chomsky told Hasan. “It was the same point that people like him said about Hitler in the early ’30s… he’ll shake up the system in bad ways.”

It will take years for progressive to come back, and they are going to have to do it at the state and local levels first, and a lot of people are going to be hurt and suffer.

4. The march D primary results weren't taken seriously enough by DNC.

Americans will pay the price for (probably) the rest of our lives. Because once Republicans change the laws to favor their 'for profit' ventures, it's almost impossible to change laws back.

I wish Hillary had taken Sanders as her VP and worked harder with his 'connections' to voters. IMO, that would have meant enough popular vote to win the general.

The DNC will have to change, hard outspoken left or midterms will be even worse for the few Ds left in Congress/Senate and our State/local governments.

to vote if Hillary choose Bernie as VP, or would they have said that Bernie had "betrayed them"?

In fact they did say that when Bernie endorsed Hillary

Bottom line, it is a moot issue

I agree with you that the midterms look very bleak. I am very pessimistic about what is coming down the road, and when the laws are changed it will take decades to undo the damage.

That is why this election is a generational event. It will take another generation to undo the damage that will be done.

I hope I am wrong

6. It is moot now. I'm still going to follow 'them', listen to them for direction over my lifetime.

I don't think you're wrong at all. Republicans have already done terrible harm to America over the past couple decades. They'll just ramp it up changing the laws to benefit their interests.
