Charisma, emotions and the role they play in this, and other elections.

People voted for Trump based on emotions. He made them feel good about themselves, politically incorrect, white, red necks that they are, he made promises he knew he couldn't keep and he whipped them into a frenzy based on fear. He played on everything that is bad about this country.

He also has charisma and Hillary does not.

I admit that part of the reason I voted for Obama was emotion. I loved everything he said but he whipped me into a frenzy with his "one america" hopey changie thing. I supported him over Hillary in part because of that, tough as that is to admit.

The charismatic candidate wins the majority of the time because he/she appeals to our emotions.

Do we have to admit that emotions are a big part of how we vote and make sure we pick a charismatic candidate every time?
