Too many military men proposed for Trump's Cabinet?

It is not as important that he has nominated them for positions, as much as it is the positions he has nominated them for?

More or less, he takes out the middleman. If a military man is in charge of the NSA, then he has control of all the intelligence and all those working in the field of intelligence, including the FBI and the CIA. He got a Lt General for that job.

If he can get Congress to approve a military man for the Secretary of Defense, like "Mad Dog" Mattis, then he would be in charge of all the other generals in the armed forces. All the other generals would be under him in authority.

This would be the ideal situation for Trump to exercise his lust for power.

If he were to put Petraeus in charge of the State Department? Think of all the possibilities!

1. Retired generals and such don't really have a lot to offer our government unless

they have clearly learned bombs are not the answer. If we have to get in a war, bring em in, otherwise tell them to STFU for the most part.

saying that I fear martial law will be declared on or right after the inauguration? I have been saying for months he might do this and it is sure looking like I am right. Someone said he would not do that because it would cost to much money but I do not think that costing to much money will bother him at all. He and his crony's will not be paying for it we will in many many different ways.

That's exactly what I think will happen too. No doubt there will be mass protests all over the Country during his inauguration and I fear that he'll use that as an excuse to send tanks into the streets and declare martial law. My friends and coworkers think I'm letting my imagination run wild. I hope they're right.

3. He likes strong men and bullies

Or at least men who give the appearance of being strong. His thinking probably goes: general = controls an army = doesn't have to listen to anyone = my kinda guy. He also likes authority figures.
