Nothing will change in the Democratic party because...
Everyone who shares the blame for the failures will assure themselves that they do not share any of the blame, and it's all the fault of someone else.
I could give you my own pet theory about why things fell apart, but I'm probably wrong too. The truth is, nobody will ever say "It was my fault." And so everyone will look to pin the blame elsewhere. It follows that nothing will change.
