Montini: 37 votes can take presidency from Trump. Still like the Electoral College?

Montini: 37 votes can take presidency from Trump. Still like the Electoral College?

Votes in the presidential election are still being counted. As of Monday, Hillary Clinton led Donald Trump by more than 2.6 million votes of the roughly 130 million that have been tallied so far.

Trump, however, won enough states to garner 306 Electoral College votes, more than the 270 (out of 538) needed for him to be declared the winner.

Unless …

Thirty-seven people choose not to vote for him.

That’s all it will take: 37.

Clinton now leads by 2,676,189 votes (1.97%), more votes than all the Trump votes in 12 states and DC combined.

Time to update and add one more state to this graph:
