My battery is dead.

My battery's been marginal for months now, but other batteries are clearly worse.

And these jumper cables aren't even a real part of my car!

My electrons are obviously just disloyal.

Not certain if this is a negative post or a positive post. To carry the analogy.

Reverse the cables and your car will run, but only in reverse.
