Why are you defending Russia?: They are asking the GOP

looks like CNN’s Chris Cuomo has officially had it with Trump surrogates who are refusing to talk about Russia’s role in interfering with the 2016 presidential election.

While interviewing Jason Miller, the Trump transition team’s communications director, Cuomo repeatedly asked him why Trump was so unwilling to investigate whether Russia was behind the hacking of the Democratic National Committee or the leaking of John Podesta’s emails this year.

Miller tried to completely dodge the question and accused Cuomo of trying to make Trump’s upcoming presidency illegitimate before it’s even begun.

Cuomo, however, wasn’t having any of it.

“Why won’t you call this what it is?” Cuomo asked. “October 7, [James] Clapper comes out, the head of the DNI, and says, ‘This is what Russia does, it has all the signatures of it, they’re trying to increase some kinds of influence in our election.’ You say it’s ridiculous — why?”

Trump: Excuse me. Putin has outsmarted her in Syria, he’s outsmarted her every step of the way.

Wallace: I do get to ask some questions. And I would like to ask you this direct question. The top national security officials of this country do believe that Russia has been behind these hacks. Even if you don't know for sure whether they are, do you condemn any interference by Russia in the American election?

Trump: By Russia or anybody else.

Wallace: Do you condemn their interference?

Trump: Of course I condemn, of course I condemn - I don't know Putin. I have no idea-

Wallace: I'm not asking you that.

3. The real issue is treason!

There is, however, a serious argument for why Constitutional officers -- men who swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution -- chose instead to undermine it by allowing Russia to do what they did unchecked.
