IMO, There will be less than 3 wayward EC voters.

People have moved on and are into holiday shopping.

the GOP will use it to mock HRC and claim that it shows how weak she is, or something like that.

some states have untested laws on the books that would fine them if they did, which might deter them, but not stop them.

of course, the same laws apply, in theory, to republican electors switching away from donnie....

There have been no sever consequences.

The only way I see those laws being really tested is if it actually changed the election outcome.

Personally, I think they're clearly unconstitutional. If the founders didn't want the electors to have a choice, they wouldn't have created that role in the first place.

i think one voted for his own aunt.

it's always been merely a matter of trivia, as will surely be the case this time round.

Forecasting the actions of a relatively few number of people is hard to do.

Those who flip on Trump will be doxed, surely, and their families harrassed. On the other hand, Trump looks more horrific every day. My predictions for this stupid year are too far off to be of use.

I lean toward their being just another useless rubber-stamp on this disaster.

That is why I HATE that outfit. It is all about being against Clinton, not about Trump at all.
