Yeah, we need full disclosure, but there's enough evidence pointing to russian interference- not that the story stinks FFS.

*The summary released yesterday was confirmation of what was already largely known among independent cybersecurity firms.

I get it. You don't like Taibbi. You are free to your opinion. I don't share that opinion.

I do not always agree with him. There are times I wish he would be more assertive/ inclusive (when factual proof exists) but overall I appreciate his use of words, avoidance of speculation/ presumption in emotionally charged topics, his writing in general.

After reading his articles concerning the 2008 financial collapse, his relentless pursuit of Goldman (The Vampire Squid) Sachs. His books "Griftopia", "The Divide". I find him to be a fairly even handed author and can overlook his occasional tepidity.

Russia.

Effectively, what they all are saying is that Harry Reid, President Obama, and those in Congress who have actually seen the data, are liars.

Taibbi is basing his argument on the bush administration pushing the WMD lie. Using that logic, I could say that since Rolling Stone massively screwed up the University of Virginia rape story, why should I trust anything that comes from that magazine?

Does Mr. Taibbi have evidence that the Russians were not involved in influencing our election, or is he just basing it on the WMD fiasco?

Effectively, Taibbi is taking the same position as Trump, that the FBI and CIA are wrong. Not surprisingly, both Trump and Taibbi have not even seen what the FBI and CIA have, they are just talking out of their ass. The same goes with Greenwald, and Jill Stein, similar bullshit arguments.

I understand when non-Americans who don't follow American politics think all American governments are equally bad, but they were here, awake, heads off the desk.
