The Big Loser last night was "R+Money"
Willard Mitt Romney will be paying more taxes this year, a lot more taxes. So too his fellow Vultures and Vampires: For the most part, the Über Rich gave up paying income taxes years ago.
January 23 2008, Tampa, Forida
Mitt: ... I pay all the taxes that are legally required and not a dollar more."
Mitt: Mr. Speaker, is (your) tax on capital gains also 15 percent or is it zero?
Newt: Zero.
Mitt: Well, under that -- under that plan, I`d have paid no taxes in the last two years.

Indeed. Long before the 47% that would live in infamy, Mitt Romney was Mr. 13%.
Warren Buffett, will be paying more this year: A bit closer to the rate paid by his secretary.
There's the rub. The 'Buffet Rule' the President has championed for two years is very much on the table. Mitt Romney can further his laudable record of public service as 'Exhibit A'.
And then there's Boehner's $800 billion of 'loopholes'. Please Proceed, Mr. Speaker.
In terms of Income Tax, the President got 60% of what he wanted. Romney (& Co.) got 100% of a hike they definitely did NOT want.
The biggest winners? - The three million long term unemployed who Obama has stuck by through thick and thin. In relative terms, none would have been suffered more, falling off 'the cliff'
Progressive Score: The Über Rich pay up to a third more taxes: The real victims of their appalling profiteering, the jobless, receive vital support for another critical 12 months.
Two huge losses in a row for Mr Romney, and it's not over yet.
