A very few people worship him, many shrug their shoulders, some dislike the man, and a s***load-and-a-half hate him.

I'm not addressing your point about haters. That could be a lively and interesting discussion - with popcorn. But as to how the majority of people feel about him:

"A very few worship hiim" - probably correct and true about almost any public figure.

After that, though, you're kind of making it sound as though he doesn't have positive approval ratings. He does. Soo...a majority rather like him.

2. I give him high approval ratings as a President

I separate the person from the job. IMNSHO, most of the haters need to do the same: because his policies and his actions have greatly benefited the nation.

But most people tend to operate emotionally instead of rationally.
