Average biannual reelection costs (2012): $1,607,460
Percent from corporate donors: 84.3%
Average House earmark (2010): $26,473,764 per member
Liability for insider trading: none

And you think they are motivated by a paycheck?

Penalize them by declaring them ineligible for election to any political office or employment in any government capacity for life. That will get their attention.
