I'm not too tech savvy but when it's explained really simply to me I can do it!

save it to, say, your desktop

Go to one of those free photo publishers (like http://imgur.com/ or http://imageshack.us/)

Upload it and copy the "direct" url into the message section

et voila!

facebook picture..

first you have to click on the image
Then "save image as" (i.e. to desktop)
Then go to publishing service.. (I don't know from tinypic, so I went to imgur,com)

then "upload image from computer"
then "start upload"
then copy the resulting URL from the "Direct Link (email & IM)

and paste it here:


(Don't know why it didn't work on tinypic)

15. When I right clicked I got a menu that offered "save image link"

so I saved the photo to My Pictures. Could it be it was because the format was a cell phone?

17. No, it was "save image link" and I did and saved it to My Pictures, the way I do from Google,

but...no...it didn't work when I tried to upload...

18. "Save Image Link" just saves the URL for where the picture was

You need to save the actual picture - "Save Picture As" and save it to your computer (or maybe to a smart phone but I am not familiar with those). Then as advised above, upload the picture to a photo sharing site and the post the link from that site into your message here.

19. I didn't get that option from the drop down menu when I right clicked it.

I reasoned that it was the next best thing...but I'm stumped now...
