Bob Barr to defend DragonCon founder in molestation case
by The Gwinnett Daily Post
LAWRENCEVILLE -- DragonCon co-founder Ed Kramer, now back in Gwinnett to face decade-old child molestation charges, will have a familiar face representing him.
Bob Barr -- the longtime U.S. Representative and 2008 Libertarian candidate for president -- is now the defense attorney for Kramer, who founded what's become one of the nation's largest sci-fi conventions before being arrested on molestation charges in 2000.
Kramer, accused of having sexual contact with three teenage boys, was re-booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center on Saturday after being extradited from Connecticut, where he violated conditions of his bond. Barr was out of the country and was unavailable for comment, but an administrative assistant confirmed that he was now representing Kramer.

To answer your question; I don't think the Starr/Barr replacements have arisen yet. Issa is a possibility.

(20,450 posts)a new leaf. He left Washington and became a lawyer for the ACLU. At least on this issue, he became one of the good guys.
I don't know who the knew "Ken Starr" is, but I shudder to find out.

(64,931 posts)is too big. So I don't think they want to bring that up again.
Bengazhi is now a dead issue after SOS Clinton's statements to the House and Senate. I don't think there is really much they can do to initiate impeachment charges on anything else.
