not enough, but enough to support Harry Reid's comment. The problem isn't some partisan Lucy whipping the ball away from CB, the ball WAS kicked.

The problem is that our Charlie Brown can't kick the fucking ball worth a damn.

Maybe this was the best job that Harry could have done. Maybe he tried really hard.

Or maybe we just need a new kicker.

... as job one in 2013. He said that July on Ed Schultz and the day after
Obama was re-elected and now this shit? Harry at the very least should
have put it to a vote so we could see the turn coat Dems such as Max Baucus
and Diane Feinstein.

"They" can use for work in the elections and then dump on us
after the vote .... Harry at least owed us a vote on filibuster
reform.

Reids a lotta mouth and no ass to back up his fight! I'm about tired of his posturing. You can say what you want in his defense, but his actions prove that he' a little ol' do nothing blowhard. It's time to put a man or woman with some backbone in that position.

see who was against it. So I guess calling and emailing 4 senators from other states (not from CT) didn't
mean a hell of beans. At least in the vote (even if it failed) we could tell if our calls were effective or not.
So what are the chances the assault weapon ban is even brought to a vote??

Zero. Although< Mitch McConnell has promised Harry that if they are ever in
an elevator in the capital together he will push the buttons to select the
floor so Harry doesn't have to.
