any chance Mama Grizzley runs for the US Senate against Begich-D in 2014, now that she no longer works at Fox News Channel and Conservatives prefer Ryan and/or Santorum or Rubio or Rand over her? Or Does she run against Murkowski in 2016 in the GOP primary?. Palin-R became Governor in 2006 when she unseated Papa Murkowski in the primary.

3. Old, newly discovered files

Something that puzzles me in American politics is the much suppressed histories and relations that slowly get to the surface of the mainstream media which is supposed to educate America.

Currently, America in the twenty four hour news cycle that is punk junk, a two parties system that is the Corruption of Champions to administer outright lying.

From my view, and you must know I do not have any axe to grind with any particular politician, for me “it is to only to know the truth, that is as the goal”. Ladies and Gentlemen of America this is not just ugly it is a place in God’s grace that is worse than the seventh level of hell.

This has got to be the time of some of the most criminal war profiteering political politician connections many Americans can ever read after the declassification of our national archives.

As one of the facts point out George W. Bush deleted some script in some treaties America developed. The script essentially avoided his family from any war crimes. Besides, Bush’s Grandfather, Prescott Bush Built the family fortune in war profiteering, worse on the backs of concentration camp Jews. America will never have a Golden Age of prosperity until this history is completely vented.

The story is true, and brings out criminal charges that show how the Bush family made their fortune. Here the kicker is this old stuff 2004 stuff, should have been plastered all over the media, however during this time the Republicans somehow talked about impeachment in how Clinton got blown. So sex is better, naturally, but this history condemns the Bush family pointing out how in the world anyone can ever vote for a Bush in American politics. They should be in the GITMO they started.

4. I think Senator Begich's seat is safer than people assume.

Yes, it will be a big target for the GOP, and yes, we will be sweating it, but I am cautiously optimistic. States with low populations tend to keep sending the same people to congress so they build up seniority. This is important when your state has so few votes. In addition, compare to how support for Democrats has increased on the presidential level between 2004 and 2012 (ignore 2008 due to Palin being on the ticket.)

5. Hmm...I don't know about that.

Alaska is an extremely conservative state and in this age of tea party polarization, I don't believe any Democratic incumbent is safe in a state that is as red as Alaska. It took everything we had to keep Jon Tester (MT) and Claire McCaskill (MO) in the Senate (and the latter won because her opponent couldn't keep his ignorant mouth closed). Remember, Begich voted to pass Obamacare in Dec. 2009, and Rethugs will say that he "cast the 60th and thus deciding vote for socialized health care...blah-blah-blah..."

8. Tester(MT) and Begich(AK)

Both got into the US Senate by unseating corrupt senior Republican incumbents.
Tester's Republican challenger in 2012 was the 12 year US Congressman. Not only did Tester-D win, Democrats held onto the Governorship.
Begich's Republican challenger in 2014 are either the current LT Governor or the failed tea Party senate candidate.
Before the Stevens/Murkowski era
Democrats won US Senate Races in AK. Gruening(1958-1968),Bartlett(1958-1968) and Gravel(1968-1980).
Barlett died in 1968 and was succeeded by Stevens-R who served in the US Senate until his defeat in 2008. Gravel lost in the Democratic primary to Gruening's grandson, who lost in the general election to Frank Murkowski-R. Murkowski-R served in the US Senate until he became Governor in 2002. His daughter succeeded him.

According to a recent Gallup poll, Alaska is the most moderate state in the union, which makes sense since the vast majority of our electorate is nonpartisan. The only way the Republicans hold power here is through corruption, thanks to Big Oil.

since she quit as guv and left AK twisting in the breeze. The most likely teabagger to run against Begich is that shit stain Joe Miller, who Murkowski beat with a write in campaign. And, he was SnowSnookie's boy and got trounced. But AK is an odd place and totally unpredictable.

7. Sarah Palin won't run for an office that would take work

She may be out of a job at Fox News, but she likes to make as much $ as possible by doing as little work as she can. Levi Johnston said this about her once, and I agree with him on that.

Palin played the media and her Tea Party supporters like a fiddle for 2 years by hinting that she would run for President, and then she didn't even have the guts to enter the Republican primaries.

And I agree with what was said above: Palin doesn't even have good approval ratings in Alaska anymore - articles I've read show that many Alaskans feel she has embarrassed their state too many times.

9. She will not run. No way. Here's why, IMO: Palin, Newt, and even Herman Caine do not want to

run for house or senate they want to run for Pres or VP where they have POWER. A senate or house
position doesn't give them that.

16. Interesting that that poll shows Parnell ahead of Mark if Parnell decides to run.

That's probably because everyone wants to get him as far away from Alaska as possible and keep him from a second four-year term. Parnell has been a disaster as governor...he makes me almost miss Sarah. I hate to think where we'll be as a state if we have to suffer through 10 years of him as governor.

Lisa Murkowski -- who was on the ballot as a write-in candidate following her primary loss to Miller -- the defeated GOP nominee signaled his intention to remain an active political player in the state by forming a PAC, dubbed Restoring Liberty Alaska.

That dispute may be settled as early as this week.
