It is after 4am in D.C. and they are still voting in the Senate - anyone watching?

Last edited Sat Mar 23, 2013, 04:03 AM - Edit history (3)

Live stream of the Senate floor: http://www.livenewschat.tv/cspan-2/

The Senate page that has a list: amendments/times etc - http://democrats.senate.gov/2013/3/
Refresh the page on the link above from time to time they are still keeping it updated.

The roll call list of the what they've voted on (most of the GOP stuff has been rejected), here: http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/vote_menu_113_1.htm
Seems as if that page is not being updated too much at this late hour,
check that one tomorrow.

and one Senator asked if they could use electronic devices while sitting at their desks and there was an objection - so I guess they can't tweet etc

It's a bit nice seeing them all having to sit at their desks and work for a change

The time that the GOP is wasting on all of these amendments that they know will not pass is ridiculous!

...all sitting at their desks. Do you know, I have been watching C-Span since it's inception and I swear I can't ever remember seeing the entire Senate at their desks at once. They usually just mill around, in and out, and most times there's no one but the Senator who is speaking and the pages in the hall. Thanks for reminding me... I've been busy watching Bill Maher.

There was no objection, so then the presiding chairman told them all to SIT at their desks

And one Senator asked if they could use electronic devices while sitting at their desks and there was an objection - so they were told they could not.

I just feel like if we can't get our own judges confirmed, what's the point? If the GOP was in control of the Senate, they would have gotten their nominees through. Err

Anyway, thanks for listening and the update of the budget!

so its a debate that online sales craigs list ect don't have to charge sales tax vs actual stores having to charge the sales tax, they are at a disadvantage, everyone buys online due to paying less for the item no tax included ?
