Brother Jed's "Gay Song"

If you attended a four-year university any time over the past 20 years, you may have seen Brother Jed preaching on your campus at one time or another. He and his wife preach intolerance and he entertains students by singing "The Gay Song".

Here he is at Ohio State Univ. making his usual ass of himself...

4. I did a number of things to the evangelist that showed up at another OSU

Oklahoma State University.

Never saw this. I'd probably start rubbing my crotch while he played with those extension cords while saying, "That's hot."

7. Was it Preacher Gary?

We had him down in Norman. He yelled at me once for having tattoos.

He was a little under average height and very slim. Normally wore a brownish sports coat.

I got him to yell at me several times. The best two was

1. when he was telling us that to look upon a woman with lust in your heart turns her into a whore. I turned to an attractive blonde next to me and apologized profusely then trailed off by very obviously ogling her breasts. Everyone thought it was funny except the evangelist.

2. when he was talking about the evils of dance and music, I saw a Latina friend of mine going to class. I'm incredibly white but one undergrad degree was in Spanish so I was active in all the Hispanic/Latin groups, including the dance club. Before she could hear what the evangelist was saying, I asked her to show me this one salsa move she was trying to teach me without much success, so we just started dancing there in front of him. He got really pissed about that.

Best thing I ever did to him was when I was walking home from class. I saw him about half a football field away. I gave my bookbag to the friend I was walking with and yelled, "EVANGELIST!" He turned and looked at me at which point I started running as fast as I could while screaming, "AAAAAAAAAH!" He jumped into the crowd when I got close.

Another notorious one is Tom Short - he's another real piece of work.
