Hillary is the one Democrat they truly fear if she chooses to run in 2016. She polls ahead of every Republican, and even every Democrat, in some cases by double digits. Although, she hasn't said whether she will run or not and it's too early to know how the polls will read in 3 years, the Republicans think that she's a real threat to them.

If in the bargain they can also trash Obama, then it's a double bonus for them.
