Obama coming to NJ to meet with Christ(big boy)Christy BUT not with Barbara Buono

Seems like a complete snub by the President to not try and meet with the Democratic Parties candidate for Governor. Nice going Obama always throwing your own party under the bus to satisfy rethugs who hate your guts http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2013/05/obama_to_speak_at_asbury_park.html#incart_m-rpt-2

2. You're being petulant. This is to look at Sandy rebuilding, its not a campaign function.

He is going there to view the rebuilding effort post Hurricane Sandy. To make that about partisan politics and meet with ANYONE other than the actual, current governor of the state would be a horrible, horrible decision. Its not a campaign event. Get off your mound of bullshit for a moment and use some common sense.

Ya'll are just, once again, digging your damndest to find something to get pissed off about. You aren't happy if you don't having something to groan over and if you can't find something, you'll just make a mountain out of an ant hill to obtain it.

Plus EVERYTHING politicians do in NJ is POLITICS mark my word Christy will cut a 30 second ad about being a leader on bipartisanship with Obama next to him. That is supposed to be his number one theme in the Governor's race which is B/S bipartisanship to him means DO AS I SAY!!

edited as there is a link in a later response to show it. Thanks for finding an article.

Though this is not a political event, it is a national event, and the President is not there to score points.

(though it does NOT help CC any politically in 2016 to be seen with the President, it hurts him, being that CC's party does not like him.

If you want to make it political though-this is very good for the rest of the ticket in that if all democratic voters(of which Jersey is a blue state), vote straight democratic, than any CC later ad should be meaningless, no?

relating to the rebuilding of the NJ shore -- something that was only possible through the intervention of the federal government. It absolutely appropriate for the President to be there, unless of course you think its better for the Democratic party for a republican to be standing there alone taking all the credit for the rebuilding effort.

I can't believe that people are pissed at Obama for going to New Jersey.

the major tourist season. re-visit families and businesses he spoke to right after Sandy 10 months ago. The place he's speaking at has free tickets here-

The Convention Hall, along with the adjacent Paramount Theatre and the Grand Arcade connecting the two, is one of the most majestic landmarks on the Jersey Shore. Over the years, this historic entertainment venue has hosted legendary performances by Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, and the Rolling Stones, just to name a few. The Convention Hall extends over the beach and boasts a state-of-the-art stage area, spacious arena floor and a capacity of up to 3,600 guests.

be interesting to match the Obama/ Christie pics side-by-side, today and 10 months ago. Christie had lap-band and he is shrinking
