you may compel her to appear but it doesn't mean you can force her to answer your questions. So what would the point of making a circus? I would do the same just to piss the righwing Republicans off. I don't respect Issa at all and he shouldn't be in Congress period. If I could give him the finger right on T.V. Then what would he do? This is what I think of your subpoena.

So the answer to the question of the OP is really no. She invoked properly, it is not a courtroom and therefore not subject to the same rules.
