Just got off a FB argument with a old HS friend who posted something along the lines of big government doesn't work, everything the government does is a failure, blah, blah...

I responded back that when you vote for and support members of congress that run on the tenant that government doesn't work, what do you think they are going to do when they get in office (especially with a Democratic president)? Certainly not govern and actually try to make things work, because that would disprove everything they ran on and make the president look good.

Height of hypocrisy and irony.
