We don't know. He knows how processes work at NSA and is in a position to bargain and can sell

I didn't read that but would not be surprised if he's selling information on NSA processes.

I don't know if he's planning on selling it but as I recall he was very clearly talking

No. Everything he has had published so far was permitted under the Patriot Act.

(25,592 posts)2. Another question is, "Did he reveal any activity permitted by the Patriot Act?"
Which is the better question?

(25,592 posts)4. Because I had a government security clearance once.
Just wanted to see if they pulled it when i retired. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

(15,071 posts)5. We don't know. He knows how processes work at NSA and is in a position to bargain and can sell
what he knows. In this world there are a lot of potential customers for him. We don't know if he has sold anything yet but if he gets desperate or more angry at the US I wouldn't put it past him.

(24,396 posts)7. Wasn't he already talking about
trying to figure out what information he might disseminate to other countries about the US intelligence operations in their specific countries?

about giving it away. *smh*

(17,656 posts)11. No. Everything he has had published so far was permitted under the Patriot Act.
However, it has been reported that he isn't through publishing all of what he found on the 4 NSA laptops that he stole.

So I don't think that question has an answer at this point.
