And it seems to me that there was a legal case in which corporations were determined to be, or perhaps could be classified as 'people'......which gave them certain rights.... and benefits....

But I am not a lawyer.... far from it....

I would be curious if anyone else saw the documentary... or has greater knowledge on the subject.

I know that to say corporations are people sounds ridiculous.....and I easily could be misremembering


I should say that I watched it in Canada, whether that makes a difference, I don't know.......

right, corporations are owned by the stockholders and stockholders are people. I am not saying a corporation should have the same rights as a person but people do own corporations. You tax a corporation the cost of the tax is passed on to the customers in higher prices.

many doofus americans do not understand the controversy in his statement. More people need to wake up to the fact that corporations and groups do not deserve the rights granted by the constitution, only individual humans deserve these rights.
