This is expected in theocracies, not the USA. This judge believes she is entitled to arbitrarily rename a baby based on her own religious belief. Thoughts?

On the one hand, I don't see where judges get the right to name other people's kids. On the other hand, there are kids who's parents think it's "funny" or "cute" to give them names that will make them the butt of every joke on the playground. I don't know what you do in that kind of situation.

No wonder the Germans have a list of state approved names. Now, the reason WHY this judge said they had to the change the name is pretty much Unconstitutional, but I think naming your kid Apple, Blue Ivy, and North is borderline abusive.

2. Same sort of thing happened to the Zappa family

The hospital that delivered Dweezil Zappa would not let Frank and Gail use the name "Dweezil" on the birth cert. They were not allowed to leave the hospital until they changed the name to Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa. (The first names of four guys in the Mothers at that time) When Dweezil found out it wasn't his real name on his birth cert at around 6 or 8, he had his name legally changed to Dweezil.

Jesus didn't die and leave her in charge. She may be a judge, but she has no right to punish parents for actions that aren't even illegal.

The other day in Ellsworth, Maine there was an impeach Obama gathering and signing.
