not from Virginia. Think I've been listening to Rachel Maddow too much. She's been on a roll for quite a while about those ass-wipe republican's in VA.

They're gearing up for a big smear of McAuliffe. Really doesn't matter if it's true. We can only hope Virginia voters will vote for what's good for them and not the 1%.

I was on the phone about ten minutes ago with someone very involved in the campaign, and he says that we should expect an outright avalanche of Republican money being thrown into this race on the Republican side. It doesn't mean we lose at the last minute, but it does mean no slacking off until the day after the election. No Charles Evans Hughes surprises permitted.

My best day will be a McAuliffe victory and the Kochs crying over more wasted millions. Meantime I'll send McAuliffe a donation.

That says a lot about Virginia voters.
Throw in a murder or 2 and he might drop below 40.

McAuliffe is one of the architects of the Clinton administration's "third way" policies.

There's no particular reason to vote for McAuliffe, but there's plenty of reasons to vote against Kooch the insane.

but he'll be a decent governor for Virginia and bring some sanity back to that state. One more step towards saving America from the Republican party.

where I live in VA you have a choice between electronic and paper ballots.

Paper ballots are what we need, but the way it's set up they're almost meaningless because:

* even the paper ballots are counted electronically, leaving open the possibility of systemic fraud, and
* as long as a lot of the votes are done on computer, votes can still be flipped and some paper ballots won't make any difference.

Usually the lines for computerized voting are longer than the ones for paper ballots. Go figure.
