I though after the 2000 election they did away with EXIT polling

Because they found out they were UNRELIABLE people were coming out of the polling places saying they did one thing and when they got in the polling booth they voted the other way

VNS was a consortium of different news organizations, their polling showed Bush LOST. Since that didn't fit the corporate narrative, VNS was "fired," and America was told that suddendly, for the first time in history, exit polling was unreliable and wouldn't be used anymore. Quietly, though, the corporate media overlords reinstated exit polling, but this time in a way they could directly control.

It's a sad state of affairs when the means we use to monitor other countries' elections - exit polling - to prevent fraud was deemed "unreliable" in the U.S. because it PROVED Junior lost the 2000 election. We must never forget the truth of the judicial coup d'etat and subsequent coverup that occurred in 2000. Never. Thanks for posting this reminder.

...because maybe it was too independent.

Now individual (corporate) news networks can conduct their own exit polling.
