Whereas Obama just fills up whatever venue he is at.

I remember him speaking at Rodney Square in Wilmington DE. Not only was the entire square (about the size of a city block) filled to the brim with people but the streets surrounding the park was filled too. And the buildings that surrounded the block, people were standing on the ledges of the building just to get a glimpse.

Same thing when Obama did the train tour in the NE right before the Inauguration. He had a stop at Tubman Garrett park in Wilmington. The park is right next to the Amtrak station is much bigger than Rodney Square. It was where the Bidens joined the Obamas on the train trip. Not only was that park packed, people were climbing the trees to get a better view and some people actually brought their boats out so they could get into the event (the park is along the Christiana River). THere was something very amazing about that event - the park was named after Harriet Tubman and Thomas Garett, two important figures in the Underground Railroad during the slavery years in the USA. Garrett lived in Wilmington and would regularly provide a safe place to stay for the slaves travelling thru for freedom.

When they're not obsessing about abortion (pretty much 24 hours a day) they are thinking of getting Americans back to work, and what better way than to do it is to hire a couple dozen people to take part in a Rent-A-Crowd for a Repug event?

I wonder if meals are included.

This is wonderful. It made me realize that college kids are given hope when they see our President. They see him so confident and upbeat and they are then confident and upbeat. And they are respectful and not full of hate and fear.

They make me feel better about this campaign. I can't imagine Mitt getting anywhere NEAR those crowds, those smiles and lit up faces!

My 24 year old daughter is a volunteer for the Obama campaign! Her friends are 100% for Obama, also. No hate, no fear. Just hope and excitement about the future. Mitt totally turns them off. Young women want the country to move forward, not backward!

Voter suppression will be enough of a problem without voters suppressing themselves!

Maybe people will plan VOTING PARTIES via social networking.

He asked, "How many battalions does the pope have?"

I ask, "How many voting machine companies does the Democratic Party own?"

No matter how wildly popular Obama is, if the election is anything less than an absolute blow-out landslide, they will manage to steal it with voter suppression tactics and vote hacking, as they have done so often before.

I am quite sure Obama's mandate was much larger in 2008 than was recorded, and equally sure that many slightly close House and Senate races actually won by Democrats were swung to the Republicans through vote hacking.
