The Tea Party controlled Republican House of Representatives is playing with fire. They continue to be abstinent as they hold the American citizens and the American economy hostage. The GOP is so terrified that the Affordable Care Act will be loved by Americans that they are trying desperate measures to stop it. They are willing to shutdown the government and default on the nation’s debt if the program is not defunded.

Obamacare is settled law. The appropriate manner to change it is to win elections that provide the democratic power to do so. Unfortunately because it is unlikely that the GOP will win all three branches anytime soon, their intent is to extort their wish else destroy the country.
