That NSA Anti-Spying rally held today in D.C.

10,000 estimated attendance....Question?

Out of the 10,000, how many there were really concerned about NSA spying as opposed to those who were there just to display their hatred of Obama..?

Just Asking...

Are you saying that the majority of those who don't agree with the NSA way of spying, hate POTUS? Is that what you're saying? Sorry if I misunderstood

I am however trying to point out that there are plenty of racist, state rights Libertarians who attend these rallies simply to display their hatred of the President... They have little understanding of whats going on with the NSA issue.

But so are people who love and respect POTUS, who helped getting him re elected. I remember the names some of were called a few months ago with regard to the NSA. And it wasn't fair.

Could you ever imagine a Black Dem. POTUs who is in his first term being able to dismantle the MIC?

This shit has been around a long time... Today we learned that the NSA was tapping Merkel since 2002..

People were outraged, and rightfully so. The posts weren't against POTUS personally, yet we got called all sorts of names and told we hate President Obama. Well, that's what I think its fuct up it really pissed me off. Because I helped to get POTUS elected , yet I was being called names because of the NSA.
Perheps we shouldn't eat our own until further (proven) facts, what do you say??

But it might have a lot to do with all the extreme racist hate the right wing has displayed towards Obama.

i think it might have blinded many of us.... It really pissed many of us off to the point of.. Attacking everything in sight..

No one should have been called out unfairly.

The surveillance was going on well before Obama became president. It is not his fault. Continuing it is his responsibility. But the NSA just kind of goes on and on and on and on . . . .

On edit:

Here you go.

Please read the post there.

I tend to believe Obama. I suspect that he is not being told the truth by some of his aides.

A lot of Republicans have contempt for him. A lot of conservatives do. Some of these characters may well think that they have better judgment than Obama

I don't think people especially blame Obama, however, I also believe that they would like him to stop these excesses. And they are excesses.

Surveillance and collecting phone and internet records for people who are suspected of terrorism or crimes based on probable cause is acceptable. But this broad surveillance absolutely is not.
