Boehner Cries Yet Again

A dear friend of mine, and a nationally know expert on Winston Churchill, was in town this weekend for the dedication of the Churchill bust. When we met today for brunch, he told me about how Boehner got emotional during the ceremony. Boehner led off and as a voice recording of one of Churchills speeches was played, he became weepy. Dabbing his eyes and blowing his nose with his hanky.

In the video clip link below, at the 2:50 mark, you can watch as the tears begin to flow.

Just thought it would be entertaining to watch.

I've read his WWII memoirs, all seven volumes. They are pretty astounding even though he could not tell certain things due to the national secrets act. Many things about WWII were not known until the British released things after Churchill's death, in the late 60's.

Yes, he was a flawed character, as all leaders are. It does not stop me from admiring what he accomplished.

Said that he got all choked up. In the video, you can see him wipe his eyes a couple of times.

I have no need to watch the whiny wimp again, especially since he almost took the country to the brink of disaster. We all know what he stands for.
