Like they can fix it while it is running?

and testing. Heard a radio report on it Monday. Sorry, don't have a link immediately available, but I'm pretty sure I heard there was something actually posted to that effect on the ACA website.

That is the only way they are going to get it fixed. But between the media and the GOP, you will not hear that.

10. Going down at nights for maintenance/etc is standard in the web industry

You want to do it when as few people will be effected as possible. It would be even better if you could avoid taking the whole site down, even temporarily, but that's not always an option.

5. Repugnants must be working overtime to try and hamper its ability to function.

I can envision repugs working in shifts around the clock to try and overload the system. Just logging in and pretending to be signing up, going from page to page, while in reality doing nothing. When your only hope to stop millions of Americans from gaining affordable healthcare is to try and torpedo a website, you know your goose, as a viable political party, is cooked.

All they have to do is keep repeating that the website is a disaster. After all, they're still attacking ACORN, which doesn't even exist any more.

9. The poor fools who believe them will be left out

The GOP is creating a situation where poor conservatives and poor people in red states are missing out of an opportunity for affordable health coverage and better financial security that poor liberals and poor people in blue states are enjoying.

Eventually poor conservatives will notice they got screwed and be royally pissed. That day of reckoning is going to destroy team GOP.

When you inhabit a closed information system, as wingnuts do, with a cult-like belief that everyone outside that bubble is lying to you, you can live your whole life without reality ever penetrating it.
