Virginians, how the flying fuck did that ASSHOLE win the AG contest there tonight?

I would imagine that just not enough D's turned out as I understand they did not quite hit their predictive models, and Libertarians voted for the Asshat.

Take-away lesson? DEMS, GET THE HELL OUT AND VOTE IN HIGHER NUMBERS IN OFF YEAR CYCLES !! As Pete Seeger said, "WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN?!"

3. I just hope that the Governor will be able to tell this AH to stop keeping people from voting!

I know I heard the AG was removing people from the voting roles and trying to help the Pubs win by keeping the Dems from voting!

It's almost certainly going to recount, we're all but certain this one is going to be within 1000 votes out of 2M cast.

Rep.-Mark D. Obershain-1,099,715- 49.91%
Dem-Mark R. Herring-1,099,233 - 49.88%

Obershain ahead by 482 votes.
Less than 1% point margin means a recountl
Keep our fingers crossed that Herring can pull this out.

The real question is why was it this close? our side did not do a good job getting our voters to show up for this.

I didn't really see ads that even focused on Herring from Herring
