Look here's the BOTTOM LINE!!! she was a weak candidate plain and simple. This appears to be the trend the democratic national party is in right now.As I've stated in a previous post it's tough enough for women to run for office as it is and we have Davis in Texas running for Governor and also in Wisconsin and PA.We need Dean back in that DNC spot like YESTERDAY!!!!!

Since I live in NY I probably didn't see all of her commercials. Early on, I saw where she stated that Christie wants the presidency - vote for me. I was disappointed, but I figured she would have more hard hitting commercials later. Nope. I only saw that one throughout the campaign season. Maybe somebody in NJ will show up here with further info.

This woman was a beast!!! She couldn't get any support from anywhere. That is not her fault. That is the fault of the cowardly, weak-ass New Jersey Democrats!! All of them! And she is right to call them out on it, too!

Endorsements alone don't get people to the polls.

a Wall Street candidate. She didn't have the money and therefore the ads and therefore the name recognition.

Barbara Buono is the poster child for explaining everything that is wrong is poliTRICKS: MONEY!!!

She had none and that's why she lost. Not because she is weak. Not because she didn't fight. Not because she wasn't a winner. Not because she didn't have a platform.

She lost because she didn't have MONEY!!!

Was the turn out poor at her fund raisers? Do you think the person running her campaign gave 110%?

As I said before, the only commercial I saw was Buono saying that Christie wants the WH, vote for me. Now granted, I'm in NY and probably didn't see all the commercials. Before that commercial, I had never heard of her. It wasn't a good intro to her and what she stands for. I still know nothing about her.

More money would have helped, but Dems didn't show up at the polls for her.

The only way Christie could be successful in his first term was for the Democrats, who control both houses of the State legislature, to make deals with him despite the fact that they are supposedly opposed to most of his policies. In short, they sold Buono, or anyone else who might have gotten the nomination, down the river.

She got no support from the state Dem bosses and no visits from anyone influential in Washington.

It's interesting that in polls Hillary beats Christie in NJ, though not by as much as I would like. It is even more interesting that on the same ballot that New Jerseyans re-elected Christie by a landslide they also voted by a landslide to raise the minimum wage, which Christie vetoed. NJ voters gave him a pass for his Sandy response and are fully aware that they have the Dem legislature to protect them from Christie's more right wing radical ideas.

He was, in my opinion, re-elected based on his popularity due to his Sandy response in which he displayed a compassionate, personal response to catastrophe and willingness to work with Obama despite the fact that NJ voters disagree with him on most major issues.

Had NJ party bosses not made their deals with Christie and national party bosses demonstrated their support I think Christie still would have won, but not anywhere near his margin of victory.

No one came to my state to help Buono. It may have been a foregone conclusion that Christie was going to win, but if Buono had gotten some help from the national party he may have won by a smaller margin and I wouldn't have to see his mug on my TV bragging about it and telling the politicians in DC to turn their TVs on.

He was bragging like the overstuffed peacock that he is. The guy s nothing more than an overrated bully. His ego is as large as his girth. Due to his landslide win, he is positioning himself to be the de facto nominee of his party in 2016. The media is aiding Christie by already proclaiming him as the GOPs future nominee. I hope that the DNC in 2016 doesn't live to regret their decision to let Buono swing in the wind.

I can't stand the SOB!!!!!!!!!
