Ted Yoho (R-FL) Tells Of Republican Plan To Impeach Eric Holder

Ted Yoho Tells Of Republican Plan To Impeach Eric Holder

A group of House Republicans plan an effort to oust Attorney General Eric Holder by year's end, Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Fla.) told the Gainesville Sun.

“It’s to get him out of office -- impeachment,” said Yoho, who was a large-animal veterinarian before winning election last year. “It will probably be when we get back in (Washington). It will be before the end of the year. This will go to the speaker and the speaker will decide if it comes up or not.”

Yoho's chief of staff, Cat Cammack, said the congressman wants Holder fired for issues that include the Fast and Furious sting operation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that left federal agents' weapons in the hands of Mexican drug cartels. One of the guns was found at the 2010 scene of a Border Patrol agent's killing.

The House may begin impeachment against a cabinet member, but it's only been done once before, reports Politico. The House impeached Secretary of War William Belknap in 1876 over corruption allegations. Belknap resigned his post and the Senate acquitted him.

wonder why he got out of the Vet field and into politics. where do the tea party R leaders find these people? Not much online to be found about him, I mean most vets have a history with their clinics and large animal shows. personal animals they are proud of and show off. He does have some kind of fine/charge from the Vet board for shipping drugs? wonder what kind of drugs. http://www.scribd.com/doc/102779156/complaint-2

I'm listening to Bill Press and all he's talking about is some Canadian Mayor (which I could care less)who was caught smoking crack nothing about Eric Holder and Bill Press is in Washington. The only reason they want to impeach Holder is because he is fighting these RACIST voter ID laws

2.2 Billion fine for Johnson & Johnson
11.6 Billion Bank of America
13 Billion Chase
1.192 Billion HSBC
800 Million Wells Fargo to Freddie Mac
200 Million Wells Fargo to Fannie
968 Million Citibank to Fannie Mae

Bank of Commonwealth former CEO gets 23 yrs in prison and 333 million fine for fraud related to meltdown

In June a broker at Jade Capital Investments was sentenced to 15 yrs for mortgage related fraud. This week PNC Band and Regions Bank announced being subpoenaed for info related to their dealings. Supposedly info came out during the Jade investigation.

Holder and Obama formed a task force last year to try and get criminal prosecutions for the meltdown. It seems a lot of that is just now coming to indictment/subpoena stage.

Wonder why it's so hard to get convictions and settlements with stuff like this? Bloomberg had an article that said the 6 largest banks had spent over $100 Billion, yes Billion dollars in legal fees since the mortgage/bank crisis. They have also been active in investigations for libor rigging.

If you watched any of the news reports about the Bank of America fine, the media treated Holder like he was ripping BofA off. Newsmax had an article (which I didn't read) that said the fines were Holder's way of getting ransom for Obama supporters.

Everyone wanted justice and now that some of this stuff is happening, the 1% is pushing back and America isn't supporting him. They're also looking at a couple of oil companies for something but I can't remember what it is.

They don't care who or why, they just want to bring people down.

I have no use for Holder personally, but ... this is bs. And do they realize that they don't get to appoint his replacement?
