Oops! Lara Logan Apologizes For 60 Minutes Benghazi Report

(CNN) -- CBS correspondent Lara Logan apologized Friday and said the network was "wrong" for a "60 Minutes" report that raised questions about the Obama administration's response to last year's attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. The assault left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

"In this case, we were wrong. We made a mistake," she said on "CBS This Morning." "That's disappointing for any journalist. It's very disappointing for me."

A Friday-morning release date (to avoid media coverage) doesn't cut it, as far as I'm concerned. There should be an explanation/apology on this Sunday's "60 Minutes."

Was it a mistake that you failed to mention that your corporate masters also publish the book of the liar you promote on your news program? CBS is dead to me. What's left of your credibility is nothing but a skid mark left on the side of the bowl.

Solution: Make news media tax exempt like religion.

Any organization that gathers and disseminates public affair news and/or opinion should be tax exempt as long as they devote 15% of their content to outside review/rebuttal and they have no other business interests outside of public affairs news.
