2016 Postmortem

Finally?
Don't know how much the So. Carolina primary will play in the big picture. Has gotten a lot of press this week, of course.
What's struck me are the verbal attacks on the least represented of us all. And the blithe assumption that we are a nation that discounts the working poor, single parents, struggling families, the unemployed, ethnic and racial minorities, gays, food stamp support for groceries, school lunch programs...I just don't see how they can parlay that blatancy into some kind of national coalition.
It's all about Obama for them. The nation be damned. He must be defeated at all costs. Pathetic politics and poor citizenship.
